Sergei’s Heater, Sutton, ON This unique large heater, designed by Alex Chernov and built by Alex’s apprentice Sergei Kuznetsov in his own house features direct black oven and two large warm air ducts, providing constant flow of warm air for the second story. Air flow in the ducts is maintained by natural draft (gravity). Design of the heater is based on Igor Kuznetsov’s (www.stove.ru) conceptual idea for this type of heaters. The second bell in this heater is located at the side as opposed to normal position at the top of the first bell.
