John and Martina’s Stacked Heaters. Upper Heater, Caledon, ON Two stacked large symmetrical heaters capable of maximum hourly heat output of 30,000Btu each, resulting in total maximum heat output of 60,000Btu hr, were built in a century-old building renovated to become an energy efficient comfortable home. The upper heater is finished with combination of hand-cut and hand trimmed dolomite from Orillia area and weathered limestone from the Gian’ts Thumb Island onteh Georgian Bay. The stonework is done keeping minimum ¼” joints for a look as close as possible to dry-laid stonework while keeping the cost reasonable. The upper heater features a direct black bake oven with door facing back of the heater into the kitchen area. |
